Shellie reached out to me in a rut because she couldn’t seem to find the invitations she and her husband had envisioned. She imagined something green but not watercolored, something that represented the joining of their two families, and something the truly represented them and the new life they were creating.
Their March wedding at Bowing Oaks in Jacksonville, Florida, lent to an overall greenery feel. Together, we crafted an invitation that incorporated her core colors of navy + sage, a modern monogram, and overall clean design. The wedding suite included one invitation with sage envelope and a simple reply card postcard, reincorporating their greenery J. The font and greenery frame was later incorporated into additional wedding details including table numbers and seating charts.
My opportunity to work with Shellie and Michael did not end there. Michael envisioned a groomsman gift that represented his mountain weekend bachelor party. Creating a custom graphic for each groomsman, we sent off the design to be executed in a navy Yeti allowing the groomsman a gift to last a lifetime.
